Shootings in Chicago Jan. 9, 2013

2 men shot in Gresham
At about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, two 30-year-old men were injured in a shooting in the 8000 block of South Union Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood after someone shot into a home. One of the two was shot and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center and the other was wounded by broken glass. He was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Healthcare Center. Both are expected to survive
Man shot in Back of the Yards
Another man, 31, was shot about 4:40 p.m. in the 5000 block of South Morgan Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. He is in good condition at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County with wounds to his wrist and left cheek
20-year-old man shot in Marquette Park
At about 2:45 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in the 2500 block of West Lithuania Plaza Court.
Paramedics found three gunshot wounds in the chin area of the man’s face and he’s in serious condition at Christ hospital
 17-year-old boy shot in Marquette Park
A  17-year-old boy was shot five times, once in the chest, twice in the back, in the abdomen, and a graze wound to the head, after someone chased him east on 71st Street and south on Rockwell Street about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The boy’s attacker shot him in the 7100 block of South Rockwell, where responding police and paramedics found the boy on the ground. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he’s in serious condition.
