A shooting Saturday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side left one man dead..
At 3:10 p.m. someone shot the male victim multiple times in the abdomen in the 5500 block of South Loomis Street.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where he was pronounced dead at 3:52 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
