A baby girl found unresponsive in an Englewood home earlier this week has died.
Emonie Beasley-Brown was taken to University of Chicago’s Comer Children’s
Hospital in critical condition Tuesday from a home in the 6000 block of South
Bishop Street.
She was pronounced dead at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, a spokeswoman for the Cook
County medical examiner's office said. The child had “head trauma” and an
autopsy is scheduled later today.
Officials said the 1-month-old girl wasn’t breathing when found.
