1 shot in Back of the Yards
A man, 33, was sitting in a car in the 1500 block of West Garfield Boulevard in
the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side just after 4 a.m., when a
gunman approached and shot him in the chest. The victim was taken to Stroger
hospital in critical condition.
