26 year old man shot in Washington Park

26 year old man was standing south of Garfield on Wabash when someone shot him. He told police he was on the sidwalk in a doorway when he heard shots and felt pain in his hand and thigh, where he had been shot. He collapsed and the glass door shattered. The man saw a white van speeding away and a Chicago Fire Department ambulance took him to Stroger Hospital.
