17-year-old shot in South Chicago

A 17-year-old boy who was shot in the abdomen is in good condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was shot in the 8900 block of South Houston Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood about 9:50 p.m. Police said the victim was uncooperative, telling officers "I ain't telling you shit" and "getting shot ain't shit,". The boy was shot above the buttocks and the bullet exited through his abdomen, near the left side of his belly button
