14-year-old boy shot in Englewood

At 10:23 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg on the 6500 block of South Union Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood. He was walking in an alley with friends when they heard gunfire and the boy was shot in the thigh. He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital and is expected to be treated for his wound and released
